What is a medical marijuana card?
A medical marijuana card is a form of identification used to access and legally purchase cannabis-derived items at medical marijuana dispensaries. The cards are issued by the state of Maryland, but a medical doctor must first diagnose you with an approved condition.
Who qualifies for medical marijuana in Maryland?
Any individual who lives in the state of Maryland whose provider recommends medical cannabis as a treatment option for a qualifying medical condition is eligible to register with the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC) as a patient.
